PICTURES
Speaking of poetry, here is some poetry in stone, in the form of several English cathedrals. If you like these images, thank the photographer, my wife, Sally Rowan.
Ely Cathedral, in Cambridgeshire, England
Durham Cathedral, West Towers from the Cloister
Norwich Cathedral, in Norfolk County, East Anglia, England
Salisbury Cathedral, in south central England
And although no man is an island, people do live on islands. My home is Islesford, on Little Cranberry Island, off the coast of Maine. Here is the harbor, looking at the town dock, with the steeple of the Islesford Congregational Church just showing in the background.

You can visit this island town online at Islesford
And here is another view of the harbor. The yellow boat at the dock is the family transportation to and from the mainland.

Here is our house after a snowstorm on New Year's Day, 2008.
