Paul Gass

Mr. Gass teaches philosophy in the Department of Humanities and serves as the Coordinator of The Institute for Standardized Testing in the Honors College. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from The University of Michigan and a M.A. in philosophy from The Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in Ancient Greek Philosophy and the philosophy of language. His continuing research interests within contemporary analytic philosophy include the philosophy of mathematics and logic.

Mr. Gass' other interests include Asian philosophy and ethnomusicology. He has participated in several curriculum development projects, including the Asian Studies Development Program at the East-West Center in Honolulu Hawaii; In the Footsteps of the Chinese Philosophers, a philosophical tour of China; and the Humanistic Buddhism Monastic Life Program at Fo Guang Shan monastery outside Kaohsiung Taiwan.
