The Office of Academic Affairs and the Faculty Research & Development Committee (FR&DC) cordially invite you to present your research papers and to participate in Coppin State University's First Annual Faculty Research Conference. Research papers in all disciplines will be considered for presentation. The conference will serve as a venue for all mini-grant recipients and faculty to disseminate ideas, knowledge, opinions, theories and research projects and recent developments in the various academic disciplines.

The theme of the conference is "Research: A Path to Excellence". The conference will be held at the Dining and Meeting Hall on October 17, 2008; from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All papers submitted for presentation will go through a double blind peer review process for possible publication in the conference proceedings volume. Please note that all 2007 research mini-grant recipients are expected to present their papers at this conference.

Opening date for submissions: August 15, 2008.
Deadline for submissions: September 5, 2008 (5:00 p.m.)
Deadline for registration: October 5, 2008
