
The Office of Academic Affairs and the Faculty Research & Development
Committee (FR&DC) cordially invite you to present your research papers and to
participate in Coppin State University’s Annual Faculty Research Conference.
Research papers in all disciplines will be considered for presentation.
The conference will serve as a venue for all mini-grant recipients and faculty to
disseminate ideas, knowledge, opinions, theories, research projects and recent
developments in the various academic disciplines.
The theme of the conference is “Enhancing Teaching in the 21st Century through Research".The
conference will be held at the Dining
and Meeting Hall on October 16, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All abstracts/papers submitted for
presentation will go through a double blind peer review process for possible publication of the
completed papers in the conference proceedings volume. Please note that all 2008 research mini-grant
recipients are expected to present their papers at this conference. Faculty members who participated in
the 2009 Faculty Writing Institute are strongly encouraged to present their research.

Abstracts for presentation should not exceed 300 words.
